What I offer at ŌHIA:

Yoga Therapy (DE/EN)
Yoga Therapy is not a style of yoga but a training system that educates you to understand your body on a deeper level and bring you toward improved health and well-being. Yoga therapy can be used to work on certain physical conditions, such as back pain, as well as to improve your overall well being, such as to reduce stress. Together, we will create an individualized yoga program based on your unique needs, the traditional practice and teachings of yoga and your anatomy, kinesiology, and pathology.

Favourite book:
Why we sleep by Matthew Walker

“To me, yoga is not about physically mastering the asana – such as being able to get into a headstand – but it is about what happens with the mind during practicing. A yogi simply observes what happens during practicing, without judging or labeling the experience.

Hence, asanas are only a means to an end to quiet the noisy fluctuations of the mind and get into unity, with ourselves, and the world around us. To me, my regular yoga practice helps me to see my inner and outer world without the filter of judgement – even when I am off the mat.
