What I teach at ŌHIA:
Pilates

Teaching style:
To begin, we’ll focus on bringing your mind and body into the present moment through intentional breathing and alignment techniques. This sets the foundation for our main session, where we’ll gently transition into movement, gradually exploring and pushing your limits. Finally, we’ll wind down with a series of soothing stretches and focused breathing exercises, leaving you with a heightened sense of awareness and tranquillity that only dedicated exercise can provide.

Qualifications:
Professional Dancer graduated from Teatro San Martin, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Private Pilates training and currently in Basi Pilates Comprehensive 500h+, Private fitness and conditioning for dancers training.

Life wisdom:
Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.

Favourite Book:
Atomic Habits by James Clear

“In my profession, I need to train the body for strength and flexibility, as well as the mind for focus and discipline. This meant incorporating a variety of classes into my everyday life. So when I discovered Pilates and it’s holistic approach under one practice, it was a revelation! Balance, fitness, strength, flexibility, breathing, oneness; the benefits of Pilates can be enjoyed by all ages, all experience levels, all genders, and those from all backgrounds.

I love Pilates because of how accessible it is and yet, how deep you can take it. Mind and body being treated with equal importance is a unique aspect of the practice. I am excited to share what I have found to be the most effective and impactful exercises. It gives me a lot of pleasure to share what has been so beneficial to me and so many others. Looking forward to meeting you at the studio!
