What I offer at ŌHIA:
What to expect:
You can expect to receive gentle yet profound bodywork that is hand-tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. I use light touches from cranio-sacral therapy that cradle and release your head, neck & jaw as well as your back and sacral area. I stretch your body using resistance stretching techniques to increase your range of motion and open up pathways in the fascial tissues and neuro-muscular system. You can expect different types of touches designed to access your different underlying systems that support full body balance. Depending on your needs, we might work with: your lymphatic system (gentle and soothing touches), your bones, organs and reflexology of the foot (penetrating touch that releases blockages and restores your energy), your nervous system (vagus nerve calming, for instance), your cerebral spinal rhythms (these put you into deep states of relaxation, great for releasing built up stress) and your body-mind connection (using visualization, expressive arts therapy and somatic awareness exercises to release embodied traumas). This is gentle and interactive somatic based bodywork and embodiment coaching each session is uniquely tailored for YOU. Your specific needs, goals and pleasures will shape your treatment plan.
My sessions are fully clothed, please wear something loose that you can bend and move in. For a full-body lymphatic massages please wear a bikini underneath your clothes.
